Irish Countryside
We hired another campervan and drove around Ireland for a week. Along the way we discovered lots of old things, like castles, churches, abbeys and prisons. We drove the Ring of Kerry, saw the Cliffs of Moher and visited the oldest pub in Ireland. The route we took. Kilkenny Castle A 12th-century Norman castle completed in 1260. It served as the home of the Butler family for nearly 600 years. Now a national heritage site. Impressive main hall and decorative working radiators.

Dublin
Amazing vibrant city. We LOVED Dublin. Had the best accommodation above a popular Irish pub on the river Liffey at the base of Samuel Becket swing bridge. Samuel Becket bridge on the left. Convention Centre on the right. Streets of Dublin. We walked alot!! Famine Memorial. Clearly depicts the despair of the people. Molly Malone statue. Song first published in 1876 telling the fictitious story of Molly Malone, a girl selling fish during the day and prostitute by night. Book of
