Pompeii

Headed south from Florence to Pompei for 3 nights.

Spent one day exploring the ancient Pompeii ruins and conquering Mt Vesuvius volcano. The ruins are amazing and fun to explore, but we were absolutely knackered after climbing the volcano, 1km of steep uphill climb rising 200m. But the views were astounding.

The next day we did a tour of the Amalfi Coast visiting Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Amazing scenery, and a brilliant day out driving the breathtaking coastline, high above the ocean.

We loved our short time in Pompeii.
